The Health and Aging project is interested in the relationship between one's health, age, and mental ability. We are looking for participants between the ages of 35-55 and 65 and up who have no chronic health conditions such as cancer, heart disease or sleep apnea. Participation in the study involves filling out a survey about health concerns and taking a computer-assisted assessment of topics such as reaction time, much like in a video game. Total participation should take an hour to an hour and a half or less, and will be in Terrill Hall, Room 263.
Participants can choose to earn either 5 extra credit points (if a student) or $5, with the option to participate in a raffle for a $50 Texas Land and Cattle gift certificate. Friends and family of UNT faculty/staff/students are welcome to participate.
If you know any older persons in the Denton area who might be interested but are unable to get to campus, the study can be completed in-home.
