Conference Overview

The conference will focus on innovative approaches to practice in working with our "children of promise"; ensuring their safety, well being and permanency. Madeline McClure, reknown child advocate, founder and executive director of TexProtect will share the 81st legislative updates and impact with regard to other current child welfare practice. Other training sessions will address domestic violence, current research, foster care youth and alumnea perspectives, as well as ethical practice in child welfare settings.

Registration Information

The conference sessions and CEU's are free, but you must register and pay a $12 fee for lunch to attend the conference. Registration is limited to 300 participants. The registration deadline is Friday, November 13, 2009.
