UNT Department of History to offer workshops about Asia
What: Five workshops that will provide secondary school teachers of art history, geography, history and social studies with background on new interpretations of Chinese history and comparisons between China and neighboring nations. Workshops are directed by Harold Tanner, associate professor of history, and led by Tanner with faculty members from TCU and and UT-Dallas.
When: 8.a.m. to 3 p.m. Sept. 12, Oct. 3, Nov. 14 and Dec. 12; 6-9 p.m. Oct.7
Where: Confucius Institute at the University of Texas at Dallas, 800 West Campbell Road,
Richardson
Cost: Free, but registration required at least four days in advance of each session.
Participants may register for one than one workshop at the same time.
